How Is The Test Performed?

The specialist introduces an ultrasound catheter into the vein or artery to gather the information inside the blood vessels. The information obtained is then analyzed through images on a computer.

This procedure is performed in an Interventional Radiology room under the supervision of a specialized team that monitors the condition of the patient, who will be under local anesthesia during the ultrasound.
